Is it safe to take this medicine to reduce the symptoms of reflux?

Reflux is a very common side effect of many medicines. It may also occur as a side effect of esomeprazole and other related medicines. Esomeprazole and related medicines can reduce the amount of acid that you need to suffer and you may need to take the tablets for 2-3 days in a row or as long as a few days. However, your doctor may require you to take the tablets for 2 days in a row before you feel better.

Reflux is not a cause for alarm. It may also occur as a side effect of esomeprazole and related medicines. Esomeprazole and related medicines may reduce the effectiveness of medicines such as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) such as Nexium and other PPI treatments.

A heartburn and acid regurgitation may occur in those with a history of them. You may have symptoms such as a sour taste in the mouth, a difficulty swallowing or breathing difficulties. If you develop a heartburn and regurgitation, stop and talk to your doctor.

Esomeprazole and related medicines can reduce acid levels in your stomach. These medicines may decrease the effectiveness of medicines such as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) such as Nexium and other PPI treatments.

You may have symptoms such as a trouble eating or eating, a dry mouth, weakness, stomach pain or discomfort or difficulty breathing.
